The exciting '80s hit game show comes to Matsuricon with guest stars Robert Axelrod and Tristan MacAvery! One lucky congoer could win thousands in prizes, plus a berth in the ¥100,000 ($1,000!) Tournament of Champions!
The AMV Wars
Come watch two gladiators of the A.M.V. (Anime Music Video) world battle it out for supremacy in a live event. Each editor is given specific animes, a theme and two hours to create a video from which our judges will declare a winner. Of course though what's a show without the audience? While our editors sweat and bleed out their AMVs our MC and VJ will be pumping out some of the best AMVs ever created.
Tokyo Tower Invasion!
Here is a board game that everyone can play! Loosely based on the classic board game "Risk," join some of Matsuricon's guests as they use you, the attendees, as board pieces, on a battle field as they try to protect Tokyo Tower…from each other! Wacky mini-games, back-stabbing, side-switching, and general silliness by your fellow attendees will ensue! It's simple, fast, and FUN! A Matsuricon Signature Event!
Whose Line Is It Anime?
The show where everything's made up and the points don't matter. Based on the hit ABC show but with an anime twist! The ever changing Desk Jockeys will force show regulars Show regulars Ben Murphy, Joseph Murphy and Nathan Beck to perform popular games from the show; including Scenes from a Hat, Party Quirks, and Questions Only. They're constantly bringing audience members on stage so don't be afraid to get our attention and volunteer...you might even get some pocky.
Whose Line: Uncensored!
Improvisational comedy, completely raw and without bounds. This show follows the rule of "Nothing Sacred in Comedy." Come one come all audience makes it all the better.
