Crew Check // Before You Apply

What the weekend asks of you.

A reliable crew makes the convention safer and more fun for everyone. Make sure these commitments work for you before choosing a department.

Department heads can answer role-specific questions after you apply.

  1. 01

    Be at least 16

    Volunteers must be 16 or older by August 1 of the convention year.

  2. 02

    Be available Thursday–Sunday

    The staff weekend includes setup, all three convention days, and load-out.

  3. 03

    Commit to 20 hours

    Plan for a minimum of 20 scheduled volunteer hours across the event weekend.

  4. 04

    Stay in the loop

    Participate in your department’s communications and preparation before the event.
