Register the Person Who Will Wear the Badge

Use your legal name
Every badge needs the attendee's legal first and last name. Use one person and one name per badge.

Provide a valid address
A valid mailing address is required for correspondence and a return address.

Bring matching photo ID
The ID name and Attendee Name must match. Registration will not issue a badge when they differ.

Pick up your own badge
No one else can collect it for you. Individual pickup protects each buyer from theft.
Minors Age 17 and Under
A local BMV can issue an identification card for a small fee. For this situation, Matsuricon also accepts a school ID.

Badge Pickup // Accepted Identification
Bring Proof That Matches the Order
Government-Issued ID
Bring a valid photo ID for pickup. Registration will not issue the badge if the ID name and Attendee Name do not match.
No Standard ID?
Examples include a birth certificate and Social Security card. Email Registration if you have any concerns about the identification you plan to bring.

The accessibility team can answer a wide variety of questions from Convention Operations in Morrow, on the Hyatt's second floor.
Chaperones and handlers who assist convention attendees should email Registration so they can be registered properly.

Pickup, Lost Badges, and Valid Dates
Does this ID work?
Only if it came from an established source, such as a government agency or school.
Can I pick up someone else's badge?
No. Each person must check in with their own identification so Registration can verify them properly.
I lost my badge. What do I do?
Go to Convention Operations with your ID and confirmation email. If staff can confirm the purchase, they can reissue the badge.
I found a lost badge. Where does it go?
Take it to Convention Operations so a staff member—not the finder—can scan it.
What days is my badge valid?
A badge covers programming listed for its available date. For example, a Friday-only badge is valid from midnight through 11:59 p.m. that Friday.
